1. Scope
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ChartRunner game and the website at chartrunner.xyz (together, the "Service"), operated by your legal entity / name, address ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Details about the operator are in the Impressum.
2. The Service is a game
ChartRunner is an entertainment and educational game. All trading inside the game is simulated and no real assets or money are involved. The Service is not a financial service and provides no financial advice. See the full Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 / 18 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.
4. Accounts & wallets
You can play as a guest without an account. Optionally, you may connect a self-custodial Solana wallet to save progress or use on-chain features. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet and private keys. We never have access to your keys and cannot recover them. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your wallet or device.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) cheat, exploit, reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system; (d) misrepresent the Service as real trading or financial advice; or (e) use the Service in any way that could harm other users or us.
6. Virtual items & in-game currency
Any in-game scores, currencies, or items have no monetary value, are not your property, and are not redeemable for money or other value, except where expressly stated otherwise. If/when you sell anything (items, NFTs, premium features), describe it, the price, and the statutory right-of-withdrawal rules here.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its code, design, artwork, characters, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Third-party content & links
The Service may display third-party market data and link to third-party sites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or accuracy.
9. Availability & changes
We provide the Service "as is" and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without liability. We may update these Terms; the current version is always available here, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Disclaimer & liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties, and our liability is limited as set out in the Disclaimer. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health).
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany / your country, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their country of residence. Specify venue/jurisdiction with your lawyer.
12. Online dispute resolution (EU)
The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. State whether you are willing/obliged to participate in dispute-resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
