1. ChartRunner is a game

ChartRunner ("the Game", available at chartrunner.xyz) is an interactive entertainment and educational product. It is designed to be fun and to help players build intuition for how financial markets behave. It is not a trading platform, brokerage, exchange, investment service, or financial product of any kind.

2. Simulated trades only

All "trades", "positions", "orders", "abilities" and outcomes inside the Game are simulated and exist only within the Game. No real orders are placed, no real assets are bought or sold, and no real money changes hands as a result of gameplay. In-game scores, currencies and items have no monetary value and are not redeemable for money.

3. Not financial advice

Nothing on this website or in the Game — including charts, prices, market data, characters, "coach" guidance, tips, or any other content — constitutes financial, investment, trading, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security, cryptocurrency, token, or other asset. The Game does not take your personal circumstances into account.

4. Market data

The Game may display real market price data (e.g. cryptocurrency candles) sourced from third parties. This data is provided "as is" for entertainment, may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and must not be relied upon for any real trading or financial decision.

5. Risk warning

Trading and investing in real financial markets — and cryptocurrencies in particular — carries a high level of risk, including the partial or total loss of your capital, and is not suitable for everyone. Any decision you make in the real world is made independently and entirely at your own risk. Before making any real-money decision, do your own research and consult an appropriately licensed financial advisor, lawyer, or tax professional.

6. Optional wallet / on-chain features

The Game offers optional features that let you connect a self-custodial Solana wallet and, if you choose, record gameplay results on a public blockchain. These features are entirely optional and are not required to play. You remain solely responsible for your wallet, your keys, and any network (gas) fees. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Confirm exactly what your on-chain features do and write it here.

7. No warranty & limitation of liability

The Game and website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, ChartRunner / your legal entity shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Game or website, or from any real-world decision influenced by it. Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence).
