1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website and in the ChartRunner game is: name / entity, address, email. See the Impressum for full details. If you have appointed a Data Protection Officer, add their contact here.

2. Our principle: minimal data

ChartRunner is built to need as little personal data as possible. You can play as a guest without an account. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Data we process

If you use analytics, cookies, embedded fonts, a CDN, error tracking, or any third-party market-data API, each must be listed here with its purpose, legal basis, recipient and retention.

4. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

Depending on the processing, we rely on: Art. 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract / providing the Service you request), Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning site), and Art. 6(1)(a) (your consent, where required, e.g. for non-essential cookies or analytics). Adjust to your actual stack.

5. Cookies & tracking

State whether the site sets any cookies. If only strictly-necessary cookies are used, say so. If you use analytics/marketing cookies, you must obtain prior consent via a consent banner and describe each here.

6. Recipients & third parties

We may use processors such as our hosting provider (e.g. GitHub, Inc. — GitHub Pages) and market-data / wallet providers, who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, name the safeguard (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Specify periods per data type.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing, as well as to withdraw consent at any time with future effect. To exercise these rights, contact contact@chartrunner.xyz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for Germany, the data protection authority of your federal state).

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always available at this URL.
